Lord Sathyanarayana is another name of Lord Vishnu (the Protector). Sathyanarayana Poojai is usually done on the days of Poornima and Ekadasi of every month. It is auspicious to worship the Lord during these days. As per Skandapuranam, Lord Vishnu himself suggested Sage Narada to perform this Poojai for the benefit of mankind. Poornima is an auspicious day to venerate the Gods, as per Hindu tradition.
On Every Pournami day, Gho Poojai and Vruksha Poojai is conducted in Parvathi farms since Ghomatha (Cows) and Vruksha ( Trees) are manifestations of God.
